STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible Word of God, and the only rule of faith and practice (Psalm 119:89, 105; II Timothy 3:16-17, John 1:1, II Peter 1:20-21).

2. We believe there is but one God, eternally existent as the Father, the Word/Son, and the Holy Spirit, being one in essence and substance. I John 5:7 declares: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one."  (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:3-11; John 10:30; Revelation 1:8, 17-18).

3. We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, who being one with His Father, created all things both in heavens and in earth; in His Pre-Existence with the Father, and Atonement through His shed blood; in His Bodily Resurrection; in His Bodily Ascension to the Father in heaven; in His present Priestly Ministry and Everlasting Dominion (Matthew 1:23; John 1:3; Colossians 1:12-17; 2:9-10; I Timothy 3:16).

4. We believe that Jesus Christ is the World's only Savior and the only way to the Father; and that He is able to keep those in the Faith who commit their lives unto Him; and that Salvation is by Grace through Faith and not of works, it is the free gift of God (John 14:6; 17:12; Acts 4:11-12; Ephesians 2:8-9; II Timothy 1:12; Jude 24-25).

5. We believe in water baptism by full immersion for all professing Christian Believers, for the remission of sins and circumcision of heart, being the seal of the New Covenant, as commanded in Matthew 28:19 and fulfilled in Acts 2:38; 8:16; and 19:5 (Acts 2:41; 10:47-48; 22:16, Ephesians 4:5, and Colossians 2:11-12).

6. We believe the Baptism into the Holy Spirit is a definite work of grace in the life of the Believer, and in the Nine Spiritual Gifts, which are manifested in their highest purity when ministered by vessels also exhibiting the Fruits of the Spirit (Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:1-4, 16-21; 8:17; 10:44-46; 11:15-17; 19:6, and I Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22-23).

7. We believe that Sanctification for the Believer is also a definite work of grace, being both initial and progressive, and that holiness of life and separation from the World in a state of purity and overcoming grace is a part of the working-out of one's salvation (John 17:17-19; Ephesians 5:26-27; Philippians 2:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; and Hebrews 13:12-13).

8. We believe the Eucharist (Holy-Communion) was given by our Lord as a sacrament to the Church, and is to be regularly observed as a perpetual memorial unto His death until He returns (Matthew 26:26-28; John 6:53-58; I Corinthians 11:23-34).

9. We believe that Biblical Marriage is a sacred institution established by our Lord, binding one man and one woman in a holy covenant for life, and that sexual relationships and couplings outside of marriage are in violation of Biblical standards and unacceptable unto our Lord (Genesis 2:18; Malachi 2:14-16; Matthew 5:31-32; 19:7-9; Hebrews 13:4).

10. We believe in the recognition, authority, and function of the five New Testament Ministry Offices, being Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher (I Corinthians 12:28; Ephesians 2:20; 4:11-12, II Timothy 4:14).

11. We believe our Lord Jesus Christ to be the Chief Cornerstone; and the Doctrine of His Apostles to be the Foundation for the New Testament Church, being the “Faith Once Delivered Unto the Saints” (Isaiah 28:16; 44:28; 48:13; I Corinthians 3:10-11, Ephesians 2:19-22; Jude 3).

12. We believe in the sanctity of human life from conception to the grave and that it must be protected and preserved as a Divine gift (Exodus 2:2; 20:13; Psalm 139:16; Jeremiah 1:5; Malachi 2:15; Matthew 2:13-14; and 8:6; Luke 1:44).

13. We believe in our Lord's imminent, personal return in power and great glory; His millennial reign upon earth; and His everlasting dominion as King of kings and Lord of lords (Zechariah 12:10-11; 14:4; Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Jude 14; Revelation 19:11-16).

14. We believe in the Resurrection of the Dead; both the saved and the lost: They who are saved unto the Resurrection unto Eternal Life, and they who are lost unto the Resurrection of Eternal Judgment (John 5:29; I Corinthians 15:50-57; II Timothy 4:1; Hebrews 6:2; I Peter 4:5).  (There is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun.)

15. We believe our Lord's Great Commission to be the heart and essence of His earthly life, teachings, and ministry.  It is His mandate unto every believer in every age.  Those who deliberately refuse to obey His charge shall meet with His disapproval in the Judgment (Matthew 25:24-30; 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18; Luke 24:46-49; John 4:35; Acts 1:8).

16. We believe that it is appointed unto all men once to die and to stand in the Judgment.  Only those who are alive at the Parousia shall not taste of death (I Thessalonians 4:15-17, Hebrews 6:2, 9:27).
