The Divine Pattern For Calvary School of the Bible
Our mantle,
vision, and purpose for
Calvary School of the Bible, is for a School of the Holy Spirit; to train, equip,
and bring to birth an End-Time company of Overcomers, who shall understand and
function in the prophetic anointing; for a place set aside unto our Lord’s
Glory and Manifest Presence, where He will be pleased to rest and abide; for a
place of rest and refreshing for the Body of Christ; for a place of the
establishing in lives, of our Lord’s Kingdom-purposes in the nations of
the Earth; with a view to His unveiling and Millennial Reign, as KING OF
KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS! AMEN!
At
Calvary School of the Bible, no
student shall ever be turned away because of financial need.
No charges or fees of any
kind shall ever be imposed upon students or visitors.
Our faculty and staff shall be expected
to serve without any regular salary. All
sustenance and maintenance of this ministry shall come by Free-Will
Offerings. Of course,
this means that
everyone must do their part in a "Team Effort." This is a gigantic leap of faith, but then we
serve a gigantic Lord who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and all the
silver and gold as well! Praise
His
wonderful name!
We shall seek a spirit of excellence
in every area of the School and in the lives of all those in residence.
Students will find it necessary to spend
quality time in their studies, which is to be expected, but it is neither our purpose,
nor vision to over-burden them with an unreasonable study-load, nor
"unnecessary academic baggage" (which they may never find useful in
any event).
Our
program has been carefully
streamlined of all such ostentation and pretense. We must remember the occasion of David
attempting to wear Saul's armor.
Undoubtedly, Saul's motivation in providing the same was noble and of
the highest intention. However
(as in
modern vernacular), "it was too much of a good thing!"
Only after David laid down Saul's armor, and
found Divine provision in the five smooth stones, and in his crude, hand-made
sling, was he able to bring-down Goliath.
Calvary School of the Bible shall be
non-accredited! We
do not criticize
Christian Institutions which are accredited, but our vision and purpose is not
in the arena of “Academia,” but rather, in the raising-up of able
ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! We choose to follow the New
Testament pattern and example of: Teaching, proclaiming, and doing the work
of ministry, in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit; as taught by
our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Apostles. (This is generally known as the
"Apostles' Doctrine").
