Jacquelyn (Jackie) was raised in the Christian Church. She is a published author with more than fifty years of active ministry to her credit, having ministered
to folk from numerous denominational backgrounds.
She and her late husband, Ron, received their Pentecostal experience in 1968, and soon began
prayer gatherings in their home at Cape Canaveral, Florida. These fervent gatherings
grew, and quickly evolved into “His Pavilion Coffee House,” a ministry which focused mainly upon surfers, and
youth in the Cocoa Beach area. This further evolved into a local Fellowship and
Bible College. These ministries bore abundant fruit through the 1980’s. From 1968, Ron and Jackie ministered together, travelling in Evangelistic, Teaching,
and Musical Ministries, including prison and jail outreach. Also, they served
as staff members at two ministerial schools. In more recent times, she has continued to write and minister.
Presently
Jackie resides in east central, Florida with her husband John Merical. She serves as a prayer counselor, and also percussionist
with the worship team at East Coast Christian Center.
